A site dedicated to Miami Beach High's Class of '62
Miami Beach High's black-and-gold Typhoons
Welcome to a site dedicated to the graduating class of Miami Beach High, Class of '62 . . . and dedicated to a lot more. This is a site built on memories of best friends, great times, and a wonderful place to be growing up. It's about innocence, of awkwardness, of anticipation, of exectation. It's about your life at a brief moment in eternity. No one knows that moment but you, but we hope this site will remind you of that time -- uniquely yours -- when the skies were always blue, the water was always clear, and the future that waited for you was always bright.
We will renew and refresh this site as we are able, adding pages, images, and text. We invite you to participate; your suggestions, pictures, memorabilia, and personal memories and commentary can only enrich the texture and scope of this little project, and that's something we would truly love to see happen.
Miami Beach High's red-and-silver Hi-Tides
Whether you preferred the school colors black and gold and the name Typhoons or the red and silver of the Hi-Tides, Miami Beach High School was your place to learn, to socialize, to figure out your place in the world, and to change from boys and girls to men and women. Congratulations on a job well done. You got here, and we hope it's as bright as you dreamed it would be.
As far as this website is concerned, kick off your shoes and wiggle your toes in the sand. Wander around at your leisure, and take some time to explore; be sure to move your mouse around, because a lot of the images can be enlarged or otherwise opened. And by all means, let us know what you like and what you'd like to see changed on the site, because, as we said above, it's yours. We hope to be hearing from you.
